Our Firm
Attorney, Lourdes Vela, is a Hispanic Female attorney born and raised in McAllen, Texas. Lourdes graduated Magna Cumlaude from the University of Texas Pan-American with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and graduated Cumlaude from St. Mary’s University School of Law.
After graduating from law school Ms. Vela went to work for a local defense firm and then went on to work for a personal injury law firm where she was able to gain valuable experience helping those who have been wronged unjustly.
With all of that under her belt, she was able to open up her own law firm and is now the owner of The Vela Law Group.

One of her goals was always to return to the Rio Grande Valley to serve the citizens of South Texas, a community she says has given so much to her.
